3 Cute Easter Bunny DIYs on a Budget
If you love Spring and Easter themed decor, I have some expensive looking Spring decor on a budget ideas. These fun Easter DIYs include cute little fuzzy bunnies, a spoon rest to Easter up your kitchen and who can resist a pom pom wreath? I know I can’t! Check out the video below to see these 3 Easter crafts I made with a few Dollar Tree finds.
1 // fuzzy bunnies
These could be hung on a doorknob, or set next to some other Spring decor. This one was made with lots of Dollar Tree finds!
These little pom poms came with a clip, so removing that was the first step.
I used the floral wire for the bunny ears, but it was too thin. So, I wrapped masking tape around the floral wire to thicken it up. I left a little wire at each end of the bunny ear, so I could use that to secure the ears to the pom pom. Since this is thin wire, it was easily hidden in the fur of the pom pom.
2 // bunny spoon rest
I used some oil based paint markers and a spoon rest that I found from Dollar Tree. I created some points for reference before drawing out the whole design, then just drew and filled in with the paint markers.
These oil based markers can be baked on ceramic and glass to make them dishwasher safe, but since this is a thick plastic piece, we won’t be putting it in the oven. I did a ceramic Easter egg wine stopper and tested out the baking method, if you want to check out that post, then click right here.
I did put some water on this spoon rest after it dried, to make sure it was water resistant. This should be just fine for use as a spoon rest that you can rinse off in the sink.
3 // spring Pom Pom wreath
The final craft is an adorable pom pom wreath. I love the colors because they are subtle, yet springy at the same time. I got this set of pom-poms on amazon.
We are going to make this with a super cheap cardboard wreath base. I traced the circle with a mirror and then with a smaller mirror for the inside ring and cut out the hoop.
And at the end of the season if you want to disassemble this, you can do just that and then use these pom-poms for other projects. There was an elastic loop at the bottom of each pom-pom, so I put the hot glue onto that. I can just cut the loop off and recycle these for another season.
If you want to see how I made the bow, definitely check out the video at the top of this post or click here. It would be really hard to explain, so it’s better to just see how it was done!
I popped on that bow and this ceramic bunny I found at Dollar Tree (after giving it a good sand and white coat of paint). And then you have yourself a pretty Spring Pom Pom wreath!

How about some Target Dollar Spot crafts and Dollar Tree coastal transformations. We’ll be putting together tiered tray miniatures to decorate our little coastal vignette.
