Dining Room Fall Décor
Are you looking for some dining room Fall décor ideas? Watch as I put together a beautiful and elegant tablescape, so you can get some ideas on how to decorate your home for Fall. It is a neutral fall table setting with a pop of color! Enjoy!
// clean that table!
The first thing I do with any tablescape is clean it off. I still had my Summer setup laid out, so I put all of that aside and gave the table a good wipe down. I don’t usually use a full tablecloth, so I bought one for a few dollars at Wal-Mart. It is really nice quality and a crisp bright white. Makes a really nice base for what we are about to do with our Fall decor.
// iron those linens
It’s always a pain when you get new linens, because they have those pesky wrinkles and folds in them. So, I just did a quick iron right on the dining room table. I also used a scarf I got in my Fall FabFitFun! You can use any scarf you have to dress up a dining room table. Just be sure you won’t be heartbroken if it gets cranberry sauce on it, or at least make sure it is a washable material!
// arrange your decor
Play around with what you have in your home. If you use candlesticks on your mantle, see how they look on the dining room table. I always start with a tray in the middle and work my way around. I am also a fan of symmetry when it comes to decorating, but if you like a more organic look, don’t worry about if you have things off-center. I used a lantern I had put together and loved how it took all the neutral blues and grey’s and made a pretty pop of color in the center.
// a special touch
To make your guests feel ultra special, add a little touch to each table setting with a little place card. I had these chalk signs that came in a cheese serving set. I placed them under a felt pumpkin and it finished off the table perfectly.
// switch it up
I also tried switching up my lantern in the center and like how it looked with this DIY Dollar Tree floral arrangement I put together. Still colorful, but not as high in the center.
// final design
But in the end, I kept the lantern as the centerpiece. I love how the golds and neutral tones look against the bright pop of florals in the center of the table. I hope you enjoyed seeing this tablescape come together! Happy decorating!

How about some Target Dollar Spot crafts and Dollar Tree coastal transformations. We’ll be putting together tiered tray miniatures to decorate our little coastal vignette.
