3 Pom Pom Crafts for Spring Decor
Hello and welcome to Artsy Cupcake, where I share cupcakes, crafts and creativity! Today I have 3 pom pom crafts for Spring decor and they are so easy and super cute. Check out the fun video below or keep reading to see how they’re made!
If you’re new to my channel, I just recently moved from Texas to Colorado, so this is the new main living space I’ll be decorating. If you’ve been following me, you have seen plenty of home decor in my Texas home. There is lots of decorating to do in my new house, so make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can follow along with all of my upcoming home decor projects.
I picked up this variety pack of pom poms from amazon.com for around $10. I’m going to use the pastel pom poms for my 3 projects, but you could go with whatever colors you like to use for spring decor.
// pom pom project #1
Spring is all about the flowers blooming and beautiful colors filling the landscape around us. So, I incorporated some real live nature right here in my little DIY. I plucked a branch off a tree in the front yard and placed it into an upside down paper bowl.
I painted it white with some acrylic paint and a sponge brush. I wanted this simple and elegant, so I added just a few colorful pom poms to this piece with some hot glue.

Pom pom project number 2 is a cute, yet simple little tassel decor for the fireplace mantle. I started by doubling up some white ribbon.
Then threaded a needle through tightly. When I pulled the needle through, it pushed the edges of the tassel up towards the center of the pom pom, so it hid those edges nicely.
I trimmed off the excess thread and you have one cute tassle done. I did this all by my lonesome self, but this would be a fun project to have a helper or friend come over and drink some hot cocoa in front of the fireplace, while you put your pom poms together.

For the next pom pom project, we are going to make a colorful floral arrangement. All you need are some green straws, a glass jar and some pom poms. I wanted to create little round flowers, so I hot glued until I was happy with the shape of each flower. They came out so cute!
// HOW THEY CAME OUT!
Let’s see how they look on my dinette table. I placed the tree branch decor on a plate and added the little moss bunnies. I think it is super cute!
Here is that little pom pom floral arrangement. So colorful and cheerful.
And then we have my pom pom tassel garland, which adds a touch of Spring color, without overwhelming the whole room.

How about some Target Dollar Spot crafts and Dollar Tree coastal transformations. We’ll be putting together tiered tray miniatures to decorate our little coastal vignette.
