3 white jean jacket outfit ideas for fall | How to style a jean jacket

There are so many ways to wear a white jean jacket. I know it’s fall, but I am not going to let that stop me from wearing white and you shouldn’t either! I’m going to take my white jean jacket and show you 3 different ways to style it. These outfits are pretty casual and are outfits you might wear on the weekend, not necessarily to work unless you have a pretty casual work environment. I have created a video to go along, if you want to see how these outfits look on me.

I have found a lot of super cute items in these outfits I have styled, but the feature item is the jean jacket I’m using in all these outfits. It’s from one of my favorite denim brands, Kut from the Kloth. You can find this brand at Nordstrom and Kut from the Kloth makes all kinds of clothes, not just jeans. They are always really good quality, last a long time and are true to size.

I tried to pick pieces that aren’t too trendy, and hopefully you have something similar already in your closet, so that you can easily replicate these looks.

This first outfit has a nice dark wash pair of jeans – also from Kut from the Kloth. They are so stretchy and comfy. I paired these with a black and white striped tee shirt, which is so soft and flowy. Then, I just rolled up the jeans and put on a little pair of black booties. I used this bright colored scarf from the Loft, but you could grab any brightly colored scarf for the same effect. It really breaks up this fairly neutral outfit and adds that pop of color to make it stand out.

This outfit takes the starkness of white and contrasts it against the deepness of black. Something about black and white is so crisp and classic and I just love the look. I have an entire black base to this outfit, which makes the white jean jacket really pop and the black pieces are very slimming. The black tank is from Old Navy. There’s a little hardware at the bottom of these pants and then the shoes have the tie up laces to add some interest to this otherwise simple outfit. You could do this same thing with any color base, maybe navy jeans and a navy blouse with the white jacket over top would be another idea. 

I just couldn’t resist doing a simple tee shirt dress, because this is so classic with a jean jacket. I have this navy blue dress from Charming Charlie, and adding the white jacket really ups the style to an otherwise very simple outfit. I have these super cute floral sneakers, which makes this already comfy outfit even more comfortable.
